Dr. D. K. SINGH the Principal of Cambridge Institute of Technology is a self motivated and dynamic person and has a zeal for contributing to Nation's technical acumen through quality teaching and innovation. He has spent more than 41 years in teaching and Industry.
Dr. D . K. Singh graduated in Civil Engineering from BIT, Sindri Inder Ranchi University in 1978 achieving distinction in all papers of Civil Engineering. While pursuing further higher studies completed Master of Engineering in Water Resources Development (WRD) from University of Roorkee, Roorkee in 1991 and also did PhD in Watershed Management from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shilong in 2005.
He has a dream to improve the technical culture within this country through systematic innovation and research.
During his professional career of 41 years he had the privilege of serving North East Council (NEC) in the capacity of Advisor (Irrigation, Flood control and Watershed management) under Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, Shilong over a period of around six years after getting selected through UPSC. Then he joined as a Professor (Irrigaton and flood management) in North Eastern Regional Institute of Water and Land Management (NERIWALM), Tezpur, Assam.
He delivered his services in the capacity of Project Director (Tech.) in Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company (JUIDCO) Ltd. under Urban Development and Housing Department, Govt. of Jharkhand, Ranchi since 27 March, 2016 to 31 May 2018.
